When reinstalling the sound drivers, select "Unlisted or Updated Driver".
The sound drivers are on the SYSTEM CD under D:\SB16\WINDRV.

Note:  When reinstalling the sound drivers, first remove the following:

          Creative Sound Blaster 16 Auxiliary Audio
          Creative Sound Blaster 16 Wave and MIDI
          VoDaFax Sound Driver

       The VoDaFax driver must be installed after the other two Sound
       Blaster 16 drivers.

When correctly installed, these drivers are listed in the [drivers]
section of the SYSTEM.INI file as follows:

   wave=sb16snd.drv
   wave1=VoDaFax.drv
   Aux=sb16aux.drv

If the VoDaFax driver is installed before the Sound Blaster 16 drivers,
or if the Sound Blaster 16 drivers are removed and reinstalled but the
VoDaFax driver is not, the sound will not play in Windows.  The drivers
will be listed in the SYSTEM.INI file as follows:

   wave=VoDaFax.drv
   wave1=sb16snd.drv
   Aux=sb16aux.drv

If all drivers are installed and set correctly, and there is no sound in
Windows, check the [drivers] section of the SYSTEM.INI file for the
above condition.
