     To restore the AST 6xx/8xx:

1) Put the "AST Restore " cd and the startup floppy in their respective 
   drives.
2) Restart the computer.
3) Follow the prompts for reinstallation of the original software.

  This takes about 45 minutes to completely reinstall.
