   On this series of AST machines, the microphone jack is located on the
modem itself.  There is another mic jack found on the sound card interface,
but it is covered by a black plug.  The sound card jack should still be
functional if the black plug is removed.  The speakerphone capability only
works if the mic is plugged into the modem mic input.
