Conditioner/Charger

The Radio Shack 8mm/VHS-C Camcorder Battery Conditioner/Charger uses
advanced technology to charge and discharge the camcorder's rechargeable
battery.  To prevent your camcorder's battery from losing its ability to
fully recharge you must condition it (by discharging it) about once every
10 times you recharge it.  Normal camcorder rechargeable battery chargers
can only recharge a battery.  The Radio Shack camcorder battery
conditioner/charger lets you do both, increasing the battery's efficiency
and durability.

Its features include:

     Built-In Discharger - Lets you condition the rechargeable battery for
                           the longest life and best performance.

     Automatic Switching - Automatically switches to charging mode when
                           discharging is completed.

Zero Delta Volt Charging - Prolongs the life of the battery by turning off 
Mode Technology            the charging current at the peak of the charging
                           cycle, before any additional charging current
                           causes the battery to overheat and overcharge.

Green LED Charging Light - Shows you when the battery is charging.

    Battery Over-Voltage - Prevents damage to both the battery and
    Protection             conditioner/charger in the event of a short
                           circuit.

  Self-Protection Design - Protects the conditioner/charger when it is
                           connected to AC power without a battery
                           installed.

     Battery Versatility - Lets you recharge both Nickel Cadmium and Ni-MH
                           camcorder batteries.

      Two Optional Power - Let you power the conditioner/charger using
      Sources              either standard AC power or the vehicle's
                           battery power.
