Motor City Racer (600-4142) Operation Faxback Doc. # 16313 DRIVING THE RACER The racer works best on a clean, flat surface in an open area. WARNING: Never play with your racer in the street. CAUTIONS: Do not use the racer on a wet floor, on sand, or in mud, rain, or snow. These can damage it. If the racer moves slowly, and you have installed fresh batteries, check the wheel mechanisms and remove any lint, thread, hair, or dust you find. 1. Set OFF/ON the bottom of the racer to ON. The racer runs. Put the racer on the floor. 2. Press and hold the button on the transmitter. The racer moves forward. Release the button to stop the racer. Press and hold the button on the transmitter again. The racer moves backward in a circle. 3. Set OFF/ON to OFF to turn off the racer. WHEEL ALIGNMENT If the racer does not go in a straight line when you press and hold the button on the transmitter, adjust the wheel alignment control on the bottom of the racer. Use a coin to turn the wheel alignment control toward the left if the racer is pulling to the left, or to the right if the racer is pulling to the right. (ALL-08/04/95)
