Radio-Controlled Flame Thrower III (600-4149) Operation Faxback Doc. # 16860 DRIVING THE FLAME THROWER III The Flame Thrower III works best on a clean, flat surface. WARNING: Never play with the Flame Thrower III in the street. CAUTION: Never drive the Flame Thrower III in water. 1. Fully extend the transmitter's antenna. 2. Set H-L on the back of the Flame Thrower III as follows. H (High) - For driving on a smooth surface. L (Low) - For driving on a rough surface. NOTE: If you cannot easily move the H-L switch, turn the Flame Thrower III's back wheels by hand. Then try again. 3. Set OFF/ON on the bottom of the Flame Thrower III to ON. 4. Use the transmitter's control levers as follows: Left Control Lever Push forward to move forward (F). Pull backward to move backward (B). Release to stop (STOP). Right Control Lever Push left to move left (L). Push right to move right (R). Release to go straight (S). 5. When you finish driving the Flame Thrower III, set OFF/ON to OFF. WHEEL ALIGNMENT If the Flame Thrower III does not go in a straight line when you release the right control, adjust the wheel alignment control on the bottom of the Flame Thrower III. Slide the lever to the right or left until the front wheels are in line with the vehicle's rear wheels. (LB/all-09/14/95)
