Table Top Draw Poker (600-2433) Operation Faxback Doc. # 3448 AUTOMATIC POWER OFF To conserve battery power, the poker machine automatically turns off after about 2 minutes if you do not press a key. To turn the game back on and continue playing, press DEAL/DRAW. A beep sounds, and you can resume your last game where you left off. You can turn off the automatic power-off feature. While GAME OVER flashes on the display, press and hold the far left HOLD button until a beep sounds. Every 25 seconds, a melody plays (if sound effects are turned on) and the playing cards flash on the display. The game does not turn off automatically. To start a new game, press DEAL/DRAW. To turn the automatic power-off feature back on, while GAME OVER flashes on the display, press and hold the far left HOLD button until a beep sounds. The poker machine automatically turns off after about 2 minutes. TURNING ON/OFF SOUND EFFECTS To turn on the sound effects, press SYMBOL until SYMBOL disappears from the display. To turn off the sound effects, press SYMBOL until SYMBOL appears on the display. To turn on the bell, set BELL ON/OFF to ON. The bell rings when you have a winning hand. To turn the bell off, set BELL ON/OFF to OFF. PLAYING THE GAME 1. If the display is off, press DEAL/DRAW to turn on the game. 2. Choose 1 or 2 players. To choose 1 player, press PLAYER until GAME OVER, BET, PLAYER 1 and 50 show on the display. Then press POINTS to set Player 1's total points to 100. To choose 2 players, press PLAYER until GAME, BET, PLAYER 1 and each player has 50 points. Note: PLAYER 1 appears when it is Player 1's turn. When it is Player 2's turn, PLAYER 2 appears. 3. Place your bet. You have two options: Press BET repeatedly to increase your bet 1 point at a time, up to 5 points. Then press DEAL/DRAW again, and the game deals five cards. Press MAX BET to automatically bet the 5-point maximum. The game automatically deals five cards. The game automatically subtracts your bet from your total points. 4. Press HOLD for each card you want to hold. HELD appears on the card(s) you chose to hold. If you change your mind, press HOLD again to cancel your selection. Note: You can choose to discard all five cards if the game deals a bad hand, but you only have one chance to improve your hand. 5. Press DEAL/DRAW again. The game deals new cards to complete the hand. If you have a winning hand, a short melody plays. The winning cards, WIN and GAME OVER flash alternately on the display, and the light on top of the poker machine flashes. The game adds the points to your score. The point values for the different hands are shown in the chart on the top of the poker machine. Notes: If you are playing a game and want to start over, press POINTS to reset the score of a one-player game to 100 or to reset both scores to 50. If you are playing with 2 players, the winning player plays until he/she loses. Then it is the other player's turn. If a player has a score of zero and tries to place a bet, the display flashes GAME OVER, BET, 0000 and the winner's score (if there are two players). To start a new game and reset the score, press POINTS. TURNING ON/OFF THE JACKPOT You can "cash in" when you win by setting JACKPOT ON/OFF to ON. Before you start a game, put coins into the slot on the front panel. If you win the game, the coins fall out of the slot at the bottom of the poker machine. To turn off the jackpot, set JACKPOT ON/OFF to OFF. Note: To retrieve the coins if you lose, remove the batteries from the battery compartment and reinstall them. The lever inside the slot opens, and the coins fall out of the slot. USING THE GAME AS A BANK You can use your poker machine as a bank. Insert coins into the slot on top of the poker machine. To collect your savings, push the tab and lift open the savings compartment (at the back of the poker machine). Note: The bank and the jackpot are separate compartments.
