Radio-Controlled 4-Wheel-Steering Wild Runner II (600-4152) Operation Faxback Doc. # 32210 DRIVING THE WILD RUNNER II WARNING: Never play with your Wild Runner II in the street. CAUTIONS: Do not use the Wild Runner II on a wet floor, on sand, or in mud, rain, or snow. These can damage it. If the Wild Runner II moves slowly, and you have installed fresh batteries or recharged the batteries, check the wheel mechanisms and remove any lint, thread, hair, or dust you find there. 1. Set OFF/ON to ON. 2. H-L on the bottom of the Wild Runner II as follows: H (High) for driving on a smooth surface. L (Low) for driving on a rough surface or climbing slopes. NOTE: If you cannot easily move H-L, turn the Wild Runner II's back wheels by hand. Then try again. 3. Set the steering control button on top of the transmitter as follows: Press down until it clicks and stays down to steer with two wheels. Press down until it clicks and pops up to steer with four wheels. 4. Use the transmitter's control levers as follows. Left Control Lever Push forward to move forward. Push further forward for turbo power. Pull back to move backward. Release to stop. Right Control Lever Push left to move left. Push right to move right. Release to go straight. 5. When you finish driving the Wild Runner II, set OFF/ON to OFF. WHEEL ALIGNMENT If the Wild Runner II does not go in a straight line when you release the right control lever, adjust the front and rear wheel alignment controls on the bottom of the Wild Runner II. Slide the front wheel alignment control to its middle position first. Then turn the rear wheel alignment control toward the right if the Wild Runner II is pulling to the left, or toward the left if it is pulling to the right. If the Wild Runner II still pulls in either direction, slide the front wheel alignment control toward R (right) if the Wild Runner II is pulling to the left, or toward L (left) if it is pulling to the right.
