INSTALLING BATTERIES

Your slot machine requires two C batteries (not supplied) for power.  For
the longest life, we recommend alkaline batteries, such as Radio Shack
Cat. No. 23-551.

CAUTION:  Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type.

1.  To remove the battery compartment cover, press down the tabs on the
    cover and pull it away from the compartment.

2.  Insert the batteries into the compartment as indicated by the polarity
    symbols (+ and -) marked inside the compartment.  The slot machine
    turns on, GAME OVER flashes, 400 (points) appears, and BAR . appears
    in three lines across the display.

3.  Replace the cover.

NOTES:  If you won't be using the slot machine for a week or more, remove
        the batteries.

        If the slot machine stops working properly, reset it by removing
        then re-inserting the batteries.

        If the slot machine still does not work after you reset it, or if
        the display dims or the sound weakens, replace the batteries.

WARNING:  Always dispose of old batteries promptly and properly.
