PLAYING THE SLOT MACHINE

Your slot machine has three electronic "reels" that contain several single,
double, and triple "bars" and also blank spaces.  The object of the game is
to spin the reels and get three single bars, three double bars, three
triple bars, or a combination of any three bars across one or more of the
lines on the slot machine's display.

Follow these steps to play the slot machine.

1.  If the slot machine is off, press SPIN to turn it on.  The last game's
    point total and bar positions appear, and GAME OVER flashes on the
    display.

    NOTES:  If you stop playing it for about 1 minute, the slot machine
            automatically turns off to save battery power, saving the last
            game's settings and point total in memory.

            The slot machine automatically awards you 4500 points to start
            the first game each time you install batteries or reset it by
            removing and re-inserting the batteries.

2.  Select the game you want to play - CASINO or NUDGE.

    In CASINO, bar combinations are final when the reels stop spinning.
    The slot machine automatically selects CASINO when you install
    batteries or reset it.

    In NUDGE, you can change the bar combinations within 3 seconds after a
    spin by pressing /\ up to three times to change the right reel's
    position.

    To play NUDGE, press GAME while the reels are stopped.  NUDGE appears
    on the display.

    To reselect CASINO after playing NUDGE, press GAME again while the
    reels are stopped.  NUDGE disappears.

3.  To start play, press SPIN once to bet 10 points (pays on line 1), or
    press it twice quickly to bet 20 points (pays on lines 1 and 2).  Or,
    to place the maximum bet of 30 points (pays on all lines), press MAX
    BET.

    The slot machine automatically deducts the points you bet from the
    total on the display, then the line number appears to the left of each
    line you bet on, and the reels start spinning.

    NOTES:  If you press MAX BET when you have less than 30 points, the
            slot machine bets all remaining points (20 points for lines 1
            and 2, or 10 points for line 1 only).

            Each time you install batteries or reset the slot machine, it
            is automatically set to play sound effects.  To turn off the
            sound effects at any time during play, press (MUSICAL NOTE).  A
            low tone sounds.  To turn the sound effects back on, press
            (MUSICAL NOTE) again.  A high tone sounds.

4.  If you are playing CASINO, the slot machine lets you know if you are a
    winner as soon as the reels stop spinning.

    If you are playing NUDGE, /\ appears on the display when the reels stop
    spinning.  Within 3 seconds, you can press /\ up to three times if you
    want to change the bar combinations.  The right reel moves up one
    position on the display each time you press /\.

    If you win, WIN and the winning line combination(s) flash on the
    display, the red light on top of the machine flashes, and the machine
    automatically adds the points you won to your total.

    NOTE:  The winning combinations and points awarded for each are shown
           in the tables to the right of the slot machine's display.

           If you lose, GAME OVER flashes on the display.

5.  To play again, repeat Steps 3 and 4.

    NOTES:  Each time your point total reaches 0, the slot machine
            automatically adds another 400 points to your total so you can
            play again.

            To speed up the pace of the slot machine after a win and begin
            the next spin faster, you can press SPIN or MAX BET while the
            slot machine is adding the points you have won to your total.

Playing for a Jackpot

To set the machine to pay out a jackpot and ring its bell when you win,
set JACKPOT BELL to ON, then insert one or more coins before you begin
play.  The next time you hit any winning combination, the slot machine
pays out all coins, flashes its red light, and rings the jackpot bell.

To play for points only, set JACKPOT BELL to OFF.

NOTE:  If you insert a coin(s) when JACKPOT BELL is set to OFF, the machine
does not pay out the coin(s) when you win.  To retrieve the coin(s), either
set JACKPOT BELL to ON again so it pays out the next time you win, or press
the manual coin release lever inside the coin return slot.

USING THE SAVINGS BANK

To use your slot machine as a bank, insert coins in the coin slot on top
of the slot machine.

To collect your savings from inside the slot machine, press the tab on the
savings compartment cover, then remove the cover.
