INSTALLING/REPLACING THE BATTERY

You need to install the supplied 386A button-cell battery before you use
your timer/clock.

If the display dims or disappears, replace the battery with a fresh
one.  We recommend an alkaline battery, such as Radio Shack Cat.
No. 23-116.

1.  Use a coin to twist open the battery compartment cover in a counter
    clockwise direction as shown by the arrow on the cover.

2.  Use a small screwdriver to pry the old battery out.

3.  Insert a fresh battery with the positive (+) side facing up.

    NOTE:  Use only a fresh battery of the required size and type.

4.  Replace the cover.

    WARNINGS:  Never allow children to play with the battery.  It can be
               harmful or fatal if swallowed.

               Always dispose of an old battery promltly and properly.

MOUNTING THE TIMER

Using the Magnet

Use the magnet on the back of your timer to mount the timer on any 
convenient metal surface.

Using the Clip

Press and hold the upper end of the clip on the back of the timer and
slip it on a clipboard or your shirt pocket.

Using the Stand

Hold the clip open and allow the stand to fall into position.  If the 
stand does not fall, pry it out with a pencil tip.  Place the timer in an
upright position on any flat surface.
