Your pager requires one AAA battery.  For the best performance, we 
recommend an alkaline battery, such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-555.

1.  Slide off the battery door in the direction of the arrow.  (See
    illustration in Faxback Doc. # 17390).

2.  Insert the battery as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -)
    inside the battery compartment.

    CAUTION:  Only use a fresh battery of the required size and type.

3.  Replace the battery door.

NOTES:  Turn the pager off when it is not in use to conserve the battery.

        The battery should last for about 850 to 950 hours of continuous
        use.

LOW BATTERY WARNING

When the battery's power is low, an alert tone sounds every 30 minutes and
BATTERY LOW appears on the display.  When this occurs, replace the battery.

NOTE:  The built-in memory saver stores the messages and settings for two
       minutes while you change the battery.
