Telephone Recording Control (430-0228A) Operation Faxback Doc. # 18312 USING THE TELEPHONE RECORDING CONTROL Recording Prepare your cassette recorder for recording. Set PLAY-RECORD on the control to RECORD. When you lift the receiver to either make or receive a call, your cassette recorder automatically begins to record. NOTE: A fully rewound standard cassette might not record the first few seconds of a conversation because of the tape leader. To avoid this, turn on the recorder and let it run briefly. Or use a leaderless cassette tape, such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 43-410. To set the recorder so it does not record, set PLAY-RECORD on the control to PLAY. PLAYBACK Set PLAY-RECORD on the control to PLAY. Rewind the tape and play it back in the usual manner.
