Jack System

If none of the suggestions below remedy your problem, do not return the
system to your Radio Shack store.  Instead please call the Customer
Service system Toll-Free Helpline.  This helpline is only for the Wireless
Phone Jack.

We do not expect you to have any problems with your system.  If you do,
refer to the following chart before you return the system for service.

      Problem                             Try This

Static Interference.          Move the base or extension unit.
                              Fluorescent lights, light dimmers,
                              computer surge protectors, and
                              home automation controllers can
                              cause interference.

Cannot set the               Move the base or extension unit.
security code.               Try the security code procedure
                             several times.

Cannot dial out.              Decrease the distance between the
                              base and the extension units.
                              Be sure the outlet has power.  During
                              a power failure, only phones connected to
                              the base or directly to the phone jacks
                              operate.

Phone does not ring.          Decrease the distance between the
                              base and the extension units.

No dial tone/High-pitched     Reset the system.
