The Radio Shack EC-453 8-Digit LCD Dual-Powered Calculator is a full-
featured calculator that can operate from two different power sources, so
you can use it almost anywhere.  Your calculator's built-in solar panel
provides power when you expose the calculator to light.  When there is not
enough light to power your calculator through the solar panel, the supplied
internal back-up battery automatically provides power.

Your EC-453 also has these features.

            +/- Key - changes the sign of a displayed number.

Percentage Function - makes determining discounts, markups, and taxes
                      a simple process.

    Square Root Key - lets you quickly find the square root of a number.

      Four Function - saves important subtotals.
      Memory

   Mark-Up Function - makes it easy to do retail price calculations.

Automatic Shut-Off -  conserves battery power by turning off the
                      calculator about 7 minutes after the last entry.
