Turning On the EC-360 Press ON/MENU to turn on the calculator. RADIO SHACK appears on the display for about 2 seconds, then 0 appears. This indicates that the EC-360 is in the calculator mode. Resetting the EC-360 Resetting the EC-360 is a two-step procedure. First, it clears the memory, then it lets you select the date and time formats and set the local time zone, current date, and local time. NOTES: We recommend you reset the EC-360 before you use it the first time. This clears out all random information previously stored in memory and insures you start with the most memory space available. You can also reset the EC-360 when it does not work properly or when you want to erase all stored information when it is unused or outdated. You can change the time format, time zone, current date, and local time without going through the resetting procedure. Follow these steps to reset the EC-360: 1. Using a ball-point pen or straightened paper clip, press RESET on the back of the EC-360. RESET=Y/N appears and N flashes on the display. 2. If you do not want to reset the EC-360, while N flashes on the display, press ENTER. The EC-360 exits the resetting procedure and 0 appears on the display.
