Organizer Telephone Dialer

The Radio Shack 24K Directory Organizer Telephone Dialer is an example of
superior design and craftsmanship.  The following suggestions will help
you care for the directory organizer so that  you can enjoy it for years.

    Keep the directory organizer dry.  If it does get wet, wipe it dry
    immediately.  Liquids might contain minerals that can corrode the
    electronic circuits.

    Use and store the directory organizer only in normal temperature
    environments, and avoid sudden temperature changes.  Temperature
    extremes can shorten the life of electronic devices, damage
    batteries, and distort or melt plastic parts.

    At very low temperatures, the display's response time might slow down
    or the display might fail completely.  This is only temporary.  The
    directory organizer works normally again when it returns to normal
    temperature.

    Handle the directory organizer gently and carefully.  Dropping it can
    damage the circuit boards and can cause it to work improperly.

    Keep the directory organizer away from dust and dirt, which can cause
    premature wear of parts.

    Wipe the directory organizer with a dampened cloth occasionally to keep
    it looking new.  Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or
    strong detergents to clean your directory organizer.

    Use only fresh batteries of the recommended size and type.  Always
    remove old or weak batteries.  They can leak chemicals that can destroy
    electronic circuits.

To prevent battery leakage, replace the batteries at least once every two
years.

NOTE:  If the directory organizer is exposed to strong static electrical
       charges, the display might become dim or the directory organizer
       might fail to respond.  This rarely happens, but if it does, reset
       the directory organizer; see "Resetting the Directory Organizer."

Modifying or tampering with the directory organizer's internal components
can cause a malfunction and might invalidate the organizer's warranty.  If
the directory organizer is not performing as it should, take it your local
Radio Shack store where our personnel can assist you and arrange for
service if needed.  If the trouble is harming the telephone lines, the
telephone company might ask you to disconnect your directory organizer
until you have resolved the problem.
