Editing a City Code

You can change a city code by doing the following:

1.  Press HOME or WORLD to display the home or world time.

2.  Press FUNC until ZONE NAME EDIT appears on the function menu.

3.  Press 2 to select ZONE NAME EDIT.

4.  Use UP SYMBOL and DOWN SYMBOL to position the dot next to the time
    zone you want to edit.  (Hold down the key to move the cursor rapidly.)

5.  Press RIGHT SYMBOL; the cursor moves to the city code section of the
    display.

6.  Change the city code as desired.

7.  Press SET.  The world map displays.

If you edited the name of your selected home zone, the new city code
displays.  For any other zone, the revised city code displays when you
select the zone through the ZONE CHANGE function.

Viewing the Time for Different Zones

Press WORLD so the map display appears.  Then press FUNC so ZONE CHANGE appears in the function menu.

Press 1 to select ZONE CHANGE.  The currently selected zone flashes on the
display with its city code.

Use LEFT SYMBOL or RIGHT SYMBOL to scroll horizontally until the desired
time zone and its city code appear on the display.

Zones change in the sequence shown in the City Code table on Page 17.  The
databank computes and displays the correct time difference based on the
home time you set.

Press ESC or WORLD to return to the home zone display.

Selecting Daylight Saving Time

1.  Press HOME or WORLD to display the time you wish to change to daylight
    saving time.  You might need to use LEFT SYMBOL or RIGHT SYMBOL to
    scroll through the map for world time zone setting.

2.  Press FUNC so DST (daylight saving time) ON/OFF appears on the
    function menu.

3.  Press 3.  DST appears on the display when you set daylight saving time
    to on and disappears when you set it to off.
