LX 200 Compact Laser (630-1041) Care and Maintenance Faxback Doc. # 16236 Pointer The Radio Shack LX 200 Compact Laser Pointer is an example of superior design and craftsmanship. The following suggestions will help you care for and enjoy your laser pointer for years. If you are not going to use the laser pointer for a month or longer, remove the batteries. Never leave dead or weak batteries in the pointer. The batteries might leak chemicals that can cause damage. Handle the pointer carefully. Dropping it can unfocus the lens, damage circuit boards, and cause the pointer to work improperly. Use and store the pointer only in normal temperature environments, not below freezing or above 110F. Temperature extremes can shorten the life of electrical devices, damage the batteries, and distort or melt plastic parts. Keep the pointer away from dust and dirt, which can cause premature wear of parts. Wipe the pointer with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean the pointer. Modifying or tampering with the pointer's internal components can cause a malfunction and might invalidate the pointer's warranty. If your laser pointer does not work as it should, take it to your local Radio Shack store for assistance. (ALL-07/28/95)
