The Radio Shack EC-378 12K Ultrathin Electronic Organizer is specially 
designed to store information about your important personal and business
contacts and daily schedule in one compact and easy-to-use package.  This 
amazing compact personal data management tool lets you carry volumes of
information wherever you go.

The organizer includes these features:

              Scheduler - stores the date, time, and details of important
                          business meetings and events, and can also sound
                          a reminder alarm.

         Clock/Calendar - keeps track of the time, date, and day of
                          the week.

    Telephone Directory - stores names and telephone/fax numbers for your
                          personal and business contacts.

                 Search - lets you find a telephone directory file quickly
                          by entering only the first three letters.

Full-Function  12-Digit - does standard arithmetic calculations.
Calculator

     Currency Converter - converts between a foreign currency and your
                          local currency.

    Automatic Power-Off - conserves battery power by turning off the
                          organizer if you do not press a button for 3
                          minutes.

             12K Memory - lets you store up to 408 telephone files or
                          208 scheduler reminders.

NOTE:  The number of files the EC-378 can store depends on the number of
       characters you store in each file.

            information loss due to malfunctions, repairs, battery
            replacement, or misuse.  You should maintain physical files of
            important information to protect against such loss.

            The EC-378 is packaged with a plastic covering over the 
            battery to insure the battery is fresh when you get it.
            Remove the plastic covering by pulling it out slowly.

A LOOK AT THE KEYPAD

A.  The scheduler is used to keep track of meetings, appointments, and
    special events.

B.  The telephone directory is used for storing names and telephone
    numbers.

C.  The daily alarm sounds each, day at a preselected time.

D.  The up and down arrow keys are used to scroll through the contacts and
    scheduler files file-by-file.

E.  The left and right arrow keys are used to scroll the first line of a 
    telephone directory or scheduler file.  They are also used to move the
    flashing cursor when entering or editing data.

F.  Full-function calculator with 12-digit display.

G.  Turns off the EC-378

H.  Press to see the current day, date, and time.

I.  Calculator function keys.  The minus key also functions as a hyphen 
    when entering telephone directory and scheduler files.

J.  Press to store information in the telephone directory, scheduler,
    alarm, and time modes, or to move to the next line during data entry.

K.  Press to insert a space between characters when entering or editing 
    data.

L.  Quickly press and release to edit one character at a time, or press 
    and hold for 2 seconds to delete an entire telephone directory or
    scheduler data file.
