INSTALLING BATTERIES

Your talking Alarm Clock is powered by two AAA batteries (not supplied).
For the best performance, we recommend alkaline batteries such as Radio 
Shack Cat. No. 230-0555.

1.  Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow
    and remove it.

2.  Install two AAA batteries as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and 
    -) marked inside the battery compartment.

3.  Replace the cover.

When the clock's voice becomes faint, replace the batteries.

NOTES:  After you replace the batteries, you must reset the time.

        If the display locks up, take out the batteries and reinstall them
        in the compartment.
