128K Electronic Organizer (650-0841) Data Transfer Faxback Doc. # 17665 The EC-359 can send records to and receive records from another EC-359. You can send or receive any of the following types of records. Telephone/Business Card Notes Schedule Reminder Expense You can transfer either all records stored in a record type, or only those records that were stored since the last time you transferred records. The receiving EC-359 stores transferred records within the same record type. For example, when you transfer a telephone/business card record, the receiving EC-359 automatically stores the record with its own telephone/business card records. CAUTION: The EC-359 consumes more battery power than normal when it transfers records. If you transfer a record or records containing more than about 3,192 bytes all at once, the main power battery might drain too quickly and the EC-359 might stop working. To save battery power and for maximum battery life, count the number of bytes in the records you want to transfer (see "Memory Capacity"), and transfer fewer than 3,192 bytes at a time. PREPARATION To prepare both EC-359s for data transfer, place the sending organizer on the right and upside down and the receiving organizer on the left. Covering the organizers might help if there are bright florescent lights in the area. CAUTION: Be careful not to move either organizer while transferring records. TRANSFERRING RECORDS 1.
