The EC-359 converts between any of the following world currencies.

    CAND (Canadian Dollar)

    DM  (German Deutschemark)

    E.PD (English Pound)

    FF (French Franc)

    HKD (Hong Kong Dollar)

    LIRA (Italian Lira)

    NT (New Taiwan Yuan)

    PESO (Mexican Peso)

    SF (Swiss Franc)

    USD (U.S. Dollar)

    YEN (Japanese Yen)

SETTING THE EXCHANGE RATES

The U.S. dollar is the EC-359's base currency, and its exchange rate is
preset to 1.  You must set the exchange rate for each currency you want
to convert.

1.  Press CALC/CE.

2.  Press X.  The currency exchanger screen appears.

3.  Repeatedly press the solid ^, the solid v, < (REV or REVERSE), or >
    (FWD or FORWARD) to move the cursor to the right of the currency for
    which you want to set the exchange rate.

4.  Enter the exchange rate.

    For example, the current exchange rate between the Japanese yen and the
    U.S. dollar is 120 yen to 1 dollar, enter 120 while the cursor is to
    the right of the YEN.

    Note:  If you enter an incorrect amount, press the backspace key over 
    the number you entered, then correct your entry.

5.  Repeat Steps 3-4 to enter exchange rates for other currencies.

6.  Press X to store the exchange rates.

CONVERSION

1.  Press CALC/CE.

2.  Press X.  The currency exchanger screen appears.

3.  Enter the amount of the world currency you want to convert (up to 7
    characters).

4.  Press the first letter of the currency.  The display shows the 
    conversion amount for each currency for which you set an exchange rate.

    Note:  If the conversion amount is over 9,999,999, OVERFLW appears to 
    the right of the currency.

5.  Repeat Steps 3-4 to convert more amounts.
