When you press the front button, the watch announces the current time.

Use MODE.SET, ALM.HR, and ANN.MIN to set the current and alarm times.  Be
sure you are in the correct mode when you want to change the watch's
settings.

CHOOSING THE MODE

When you press MODE.SET, the display changes in sequence:

SETTING THE TIME

In the time setting mode, repeatedly press ALM.HR to set the hour and
ANN.MIN to set the minutes until the display shows the correct time.  The
watch announces the hours and minutes as they advance on the display.  PM
appears on the display if it is a PM hour.

Press MODE.SET twice to return to the time display.

NOTE:  If you do not press a button within about 7 seconds while setting
       the current time, the watch returns to the current time display.

SETTING THE ALARM TIME

In the alarm setting mode, repeatedly press ALM.HR to set the alarm hour
and ANN.MIN to set the alarm minute until the display shows the desired
alarm time.  The watch announces the alarm hour and minutes as they
advance.  PM appears on the display if it is a PM hour.

Press MODE.SET to return to the time display.

NOTE:  If you do not press a button within about 7 seconds while setting
       the alarm time, the watch returns to the current time display.

TURNING THE ALARM ON AND OFF

To turn on the alarm, press MODE.SET once in the time display mode.  BELL
appears on the display.

To turn off the alarm, press MODE.SET three times.  BELL disappears from
the display.

At the set alarm time, the watch sounds for one minute.  Press any button
to silence the alarm.

To silence the alarm and have it sound again after 10 minutes, press the 
front button.

Selecting the Alarm Sound

You can select one of three different sounds: a beep, a cuckoo, or a
rooster crow.

Repeatedly press ALM.HR in the time display mode until you hear the desired
alarm sound.  Each time you press ALM.HR, you hear the chime and the
selected sound.

TURNING THE CHIME ON AND OFF

You can set the watch to sound a chime on the hour and then announce the
time between 8 am and 10 PM only.  The chime sounds, and appears on the
display.

To turn off the chime, press ANN.MIN again in the time display mode.  The 
chime sounds, and disappears from the display.
