LCD Calculator Alarm Watch (630-5021) Care and Maintenance Faxback Doc. # 19135 REPLACING THE BATTERY The watch comes with a battery installed. If the display dims or the watch does not function properly, replace the battery with a 3-volt lithium battery, CR2016H (Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-160). NOTE: The expected battery life is about 4 1/2 years. Follow these steps to replace the battery. 1. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the watch's four screws and remove the back of the watch's case. 2. Remove the two screws that hold the battery bar. 3. Remove the old battery and insert a new one with the positive (+) side facing up. WARNING: Never allow children to play with the battery. Dispose of it immediately. Swallowing a battery can be fatal. 4. Replace the battery bar and secure it with the two screws. 5. Replace the back of the case and secure it with the four screws. NOTE: Press and hold down the top two rows of keys to reset the watch if the time display does not appear after you replace the battery.
