The conversion function lets you choose metric or currency conversion.

Repeatedly press CONV to select the desired type of conversion (metric or
currency).

METRIC CONVERSION 

The organizer can convert between the following:  Celsius/Fahrenheit,
mile/kilometer, fluid ounces/milliliters, gallons/liters, ounces/grams,
pounds/kilograms, inch/centimeters, and yards/meters.

Follow these steps to perform metric conversions.

1.  Press the SEARCH up or down keys to select the units to be converted.

2.  Enter the number you want to convert.

3.  Press the left or right arrow keys to change the direction of the
    conversion.  For example, if the display shows 

    DEG  C ->  DEG F, press the left arrow key to change it to 
    DEG  C <-  DEG F.

    NOTE:  Use the +/- key (A) for negative values.

           Use the . key (O) for decimal point.

CURRENCY CONVERSION

SETTING CURRENCY NAMES AND RATES

1.  Repeatedly press CONV until - CURRENCY -, US$ -> DM, and 0 appear.

2.  Press the SEARCH up or down keys to select the conversion pair with the
    currency name you want to change.

3.  Press EDIT.  The leftmost character on the top row flashes.

4.  Enter the currency name and press ENTER to store it.

    NOTE:  The default home currency is U.S. Dollars.  You can enter a
           currency name up to 5 characters long.

5.  Enter the second currency name and press ENTER.  RATE ? appears.

    NOTE:  The default currencies are German Marks, Japanese Yen, Canadian
           Dollars, and English Pounds.

6.  Enter the conversion rate and press ENTER.  For example, if you want to
    convert US Dollars to Italian Lire and the rate of exchange is 1600
    Lire to the Dollar, enter 1600.

7.  Repeat Steps 2 - 6 to set more currency names and rates.

MAKING A CURRENCY CONVERSION

1.  Press CONV twice to enter the currency conversion mode.

2.  Press the SEARCH up or down keys to select the desired conversion pair.

3.  Enter the amount to be converted.

4.  Press the left or right arrow key to convert currencies in the
    direction of the arrow.
