INSTALLING/REPLACING THE BATTERIES

The clock uses two AAA batteries.  For the best performance, we recommend
alkaline batteries, such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-555.

1.  Push the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow and
    lift it off.

2.  Install two AAA batteries as indicated by the polarity symbols
    (+ and -) marked inside the battery compartment.  The clock announces
    the time and temperature.

3.  Replace the cover.

Cautions:  Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type.

           Never mix fresh with old batteries.

USING THE CLOCK'S COVER 

You can close the clock's cover so you can carry it when you travel.  Fold
the cover over the display, and press it until it snaps shut.

You can also use the clock's cover as a stand for easy viewing.  Simply
lift the cover away from the front panel of the clock and set the clock on
a flat surface.
