OPERATIONS

Key                             Function

ON/C                            Turns the calculator on, showing 0. and
                                the DEG indicator.

                                Pressed once during a number entry, clears
                                the display.

                                Pressed twice during a number entry or
                                once during an error condition, clears the
                                display and all pending operation.

                                Pressing ON/C does not affect the
                                memories, statistical registers, angle
                                units, or display format.

OFF                             Cleans the display, any error condition,
                                any pending operations, the statistical
                                registers, and the automatic constant.

                                Resets the angle unit to degrees.

                                Selects standard notation with floating-
                                decimal display.

2nd                             Turns the 2nd indicator on and instructs
                                the calculator to perform the second
                                function (written above the key) of the
                                next key pressed.

APD tm (Automatic Power Down)

To increase battery life, the calculator is automatically turned off if
no key is pressed for about five minutes.  When you turn the calculator
on again, the display, pending operations, and settings are just as you
left them.
