SPELL CHECK

Functions:  Automatic spell checking based on a dictionary of approximately
            80,000 words.

TELEPHONE DIRECTORY

Functions:  Data storage/recall (50 items when each item contains up to 8
            characters for name and up to 12 digits for number), secret
            function, memory capacity display.
Input  Capacity Per Item:  12 alphabetic characters, numbers, symbols or
            spaces for the alpha-numeric entry; 24 numbers, hyphens, or
            spaces, in numeric entry.

CALCULATOR

Functions:  Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, constants for
            +, -, x, /, memory calculations, percentage calculations
            including add-ons/discounts/markups/rate of change, 16-digit
            approximate calculations and various other practical
            calculations.
Capacity:   8 digits
Decimal Point:  Full-floating with underflow
Overflow Check:  Indicated by "E" sign, locking of calculator

GENERAL GUIDE

Main Key Functions

            EDIT - Press to edit stored data.

           SPELL - Press to switch power on and enter the Spell Check Mode.

       TELEPHONE - Press to enter the Telephone Directory Mode.

          SECRET - Press to use the secret function.

             OFF - Press to switch power off.

              AC - Press to start a calculation.

             CLR - Press to clear input characters and numbers from the
                   display.

DISPLAY LAYOUT

             [A] - Alpha-character input mode indicator.

            <  > - Indicate data running off the left or right side of the
                   display.

         /\  \/  - Indicate data running off the top or bottom of the
                   display.

       TELEPHONE - Telephone Directory Mode indicator.

             KEY - Secret memory area indicator.

       OPEN BOOK - Spell Check Mode indicator.

     SHADED AREA - Text area:  For input of up to 12 (22 in Spell Check
                   Mode) alpha-characters, symbols, numbers, or spaces.

RECTANGULAR AREA - Number area:  For input of up to 24 numbers, hyphens, or
                   spaces.
