Your Radio Shack EC-3030 12-Digit Two-Color Desktop Printing Calculator is
an example of superior design and craftsmanship.  The following suggestions
will help you care for your calculator so you can enjoy it for years.

    Keep the calculator dry.  If it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately.
    Liquids might contain minerals that can corrode the electronic
    circuits.

    Handle the calculator gently and carefully.  Dropping it can damage
    circuit boards and cases and can cause the calculator to work
    improperly.

    Use and store the calculator only in normal temperature environments.
    Temperature extremes can shorten the life of electronic devices and
    distort or melt plastic parts.

    Keep the calculator away from dust and dirt, which can cause premature
    wear of parts.

Wipe the calculator with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking new.
Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to
clean the calculator.

Modifying or tampering with the calculator's internal components can cause
a malfunction and might invalidate your calculator's warranty.  If your
calculator is not performing as it should, take it to your local Radio
Shack store for assistance.

REPLACING THE INK ROLLERS

The printer in this calculator uses a disposable ink roller cartridge.  To
maintain clear printing, change the ink roller after using about eight
rolls of printing paper.  You can order additional ink cartridges from
your local Radio Shack store.

CAUTION:  Never try to reuse the ink roller by adding a solvent or liquid
          ink to it.  This could damage the printer.

1.  Remove the printer cover by pushing it in the direction of the arrow.

2.  Grasp retainer pin of the worn out ink roller cartridge (red or black)
    and lift it out.  This also pulls out the disposable ink roller
    cartridge.

3.  Install the new ink roller cartridge.

4.  Replace the printer cover.
