EC-339 Rolodex 64K Pocket Data Directory (650-0939) Operation Faxback Doc. # 32161 USING THE BUILT-IN INSTRUCTIONS Your data directory has built-in instructions. To use the instructions: 1. Press [INSTR]. The first instruction screen appears. 2. Press [TURN PAGE] or [FWD] to advance to the next page, and find the subject in the on-line contents. 3. Repeatedly press [TURN PAGE] or [FWD] to rapidly advance to the page you need. 4. If you need to back up, press [REV]. 5. Press any feature button--such as [LETTERS TO WRITE]--to stop displaying the instructions. Your data directory's built-in instructions use the following abbreviations for feature buttons: BCF, Business Card File LTW, Letters To Write CS, Call Sheet RN, Reminder Notes MR, Morning Review MC, Monthly Calendar NOTE: The built-in instructions refer to rotary knobs. These instructions apply only to the Desktop Rolodex Data Directory. REVIEWING REMINDER NOTES 1. Press Business Card File. 2. Press FWD or REV to advance or back up through the business cards in alphabetical order. VIEWING THE MORNING REVIEW The Morning Review function automatically displays your letters-to-write, reminder-notes, and call-sheet records with a single press of [MORNING REVIEW]. Each screen of all files display for about two seconds. DELETING A RECORD 1. Recall the record you want to delete to the top line of the display. 2. Press and hold [ERASE] until the record disappears. RESET PROCEDURES To reset your data directory's processor, press RESET on the back of the display with a straightened paper clip (or something similar). This does not delete information from memory. If this does not correct the problem or IF YOU WANT TO DELETE the information in your data directory's memory: WARNING: THIS PROCEDURE DELETES ALL INFORMATION FROM YOUR DATA DIRECTORY!! 1. Press and hold [ENTER]. Then, press RESET with a straightened paper clip. 2. Release [RESET]. Then release [ENTER]. The display returns to normal.
