INSTALLING THE BATTERIES

The translator comes with two CR2025, 3-volt, lithium batteries (Radio
Shack Cat. No. 23-161).  Follow these steps to install the batteries.

1.  Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow and
    lift it off.

2.  Install the batteries with their positive (+) sides facing up.

3.  Replace the battery compartment cover.

When the display dims or the translator functions erratically, replace the
batteries.

WARNINGS:  Never let children play with the batteries.  Swallowing a
           lithium battery could be fatal.

           To avoid risk of explosion, do not recharge, open, or heat a
           lithium battery or dispose of it in fire.

NOTE:  You must re-enter the exchange rate(s) after you replace the
       batteries.
