POWER SOURCE

Plug the clock's power cord into any standard household AC outlet.

The display flashes when you plug in the clock and no backup battery is
installed or the power is interrupted.  After you set the time, the
display stops flashing.

If you have installed a back-up battery, the display turns off, but the
clock runs about 8 more hours during a power failure.  The alarm sounds at
the preset time.

SETTING THE TIME

Follow these steps to set the time.

1.  Press and hold down TIME.

2.  While you hold down TIME, repeatedly press or press and hold down
    TIME, repeatedly press or press and hold down HOUR until the correct
    hour appears.

    NOTE:  The PM indicator at the bottom left of the display lights when
           you set a pm hour.

3.  While you hold down TIME, repeatedly press or press and hold down
    MINUTE until the correct minute appears.

4.  Release TIME when the correct time appears.

SETTING THE ALARM TIME

Follow these steps to set the alarm time.

1.  Press and hold down ALARM.

2.  While you hold down ALARM, repeatedly press or press and hold down
    HOUR until the hour you want the alarm to sound appears.

    NOTE:  The PM indicator at the bottom left of the display lights when
           you set a pm hour.

3.  While you hold down ALARM, repeatedly press or press and hold down
    MINUTE until the minute you want the alarm to sound appears.

4.  Release ALARM when you set the correct alarm time.

    NOTES:  Press ALARM to view the alarm time.

            To reset the alarm to 12:00 am, press 

            To reset the alarm to 12:00 am, press ALARM, HOUR, and MINUTE
            at the same time.

USING THE ALARM

Once you have set the alarm time, follow these steps to activate the alarm.

1.  Slide ALARM ON/OFF to ON.  The ALARM indicator lights.

2.  When the alarm sounds, set ALARM ON/OFF to OFF to turn off the alarm.

3.  Slide ALARM ON/OFF back to ON to reset the alarm to sound at the same
    time the next day.

If you do not turn off the alarm, it sounds for about 2 hours and then
automatically resets to sound at the preset alarm time the next day.

USING THE SNOOZE FEATURE

To temporarily turn off the alarm for about 9 minutes, press SNOOZE while
the alarm sounds.  The alarm turns off and sounds again in about
9 minutes.

You can press SNOOZE to repeat the alarm on/off cycle for about 2 hours.
Then the alarm turns off and resets to sound at the preset alarm time the
next day.
