Highlight zone change and press EXE. The currently selected time zone flashes on the display. 3. Use left arrow or right arrow to scroll horizontally until your time zone flashes, then press EXE. The home time should appear on the display. SWITCHING BETWEEN 12 AND 24 HOUR CLOCK 1. Press HOME TIME/WORLD TIME and then press FUNCTION. 2. Highlight 12/24 hours; then press EXE. The clock display appears in a 12 or 24 hours format. AM or PM appears on the display in the 12 hr format and disappears in the 24 hour format. SETTING THE HOME DATE AND TIME 1. Display the clock and press FUNCTION. 2. Highlight time set; then press EXE. The first hour digit flashes. 3. Enter the hour and minute using the number buttons (numbers are marked above the letters). Set the minute 1 or 2 minutes ahead of the current time. **NOTE: You must precede a one-digit hour or minute with a 0: 01, 02, etc. Esach time you input a number, the flashing cursor moves to the right. 4. If on the 12 hour format, preaa A for AM or P for PM. The cursor moves to the date section. 5. Enter the year, month and day in the same manner. The first hour digit flashes. 6. At the precise time signal for the time you set , press EXE. The clock starts counting from 00 seconds. SWITCH TO DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME 1. Press HOME TIME/WORLD TIME until the time you wish to change to daylight saving time appears. 2. Press FUNCTION. 3. Highlight DST ON/OFF and press EXE. DST appears on the display when you set daylight saving time to on and disappears when set it to off. CHANGING THE WORLD TIME ZONE 1. Repeatedly press THOME TIME/WORLD TIME until the globe display appears. 2. Use right arrow or left arrow to scroll horizontally until the desired time zone appears on the display. Zones change in the sequence shown in the City Code Table. The data bank computes and displays the correct time difference based on the hiome time you set. (IR-07/18/96)
