REPLACING THE BATTERY

Your Walk & Jog Mate uses a 386A LR43 button-cell battery for power (such
as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-116).  When the display becomes dim or if the
pedometer begins to operate erratically, replace the battery.

See the illustration in "Preparation", on Faxback Doc. # 33026.  Be sure to
install the battery with the + side up, and be careful not to bend or
stress the terminals.

After you replace the battery, you must press the reset button and re-enter
your stride lengths.

WARNINGS:  Always dispose of the old battery promptly and properly.  Never
           incinerate a battery.

           Never let children play with the old battery.  Swallowing a
           battery could be fatal.  Call a physician at once if one is
           swallowed.
