EC-2035 Fraction Calculator (650-0529) Precautions Faxback Doc. # 33493 Be sure to observe the following precautions whenever you are using the EC-2035. Never expose the calculator to direct flame! Doing so presents the danger of explosion. Do not expose the calculator to extreme changes in temperature. At low temperatures, the response of the display may slow down or fail completely. Leaving the calculator near a heater, in a closed car when it is hot, or near any other source of heat can seriously damage it. Do not expose the calculator to extreme humidity or dust. Keep the calculator away from liquids, and out of areas where there is excessive humidity or dust. Do not drop the calculator or otherwise subject it to severe impact. Do not bend or twist the calculator. Do not carry the calculator in your back pocket or otherwise twist or bend it. Never try to take the calculator apart. Do not press the keys on the calculator with a pen or other sharp object. To clean the calculator, use a soft dry cloth. When very soiled, you can clean the exterior of the calculator with a soft cloth that is moistened with a weak solution of water and a mild neutral detergent. Be sure to wring the cloth out completely to remove any excess liquid. Never use thinner, benzine or any other volatile agents to clean your calculator.
