CLOCK BATTERY

The clock is powered by one A76 button cell battery (Cat. No. 23-115).  The
battery is supplied, but you must remove the insulator strip from the
battery compartment by simply pulling it away.

NOTES:  If the display does not operate properly, use a straightened paper
        clip to press RESET at the back of your clock to reset the display.

        When the display dims, replace the battery.  Make sure you install
        the new battery with the positive (+) side facing up.

        You must reset the current time and alarm time after you replace
        the A76 button cell battery.

WARNING:  Do not allow children to play with the button cell battery.  It
          can be harmful or fatal if swallowed.

BACKLIGHT BATTERIES

The clock also uses two AAA batteries (such as Cat. No. 23-555, not
supplied) to power the backlight.

Simply slide off the large battery compartment cover, install the batteries
as indicated by the polarity symbols ( + and - ) marked inside the
compartment, then replace the cover.

NOTE:  If the backlight dims when you press LIGHT/SNOOZE, replace the
       backlight batteries.
