The clock/alarm has two types of displays: time and daily

SETTING THE TIME AND DATE

1.  Press [CLOCK/ALARM] until the time display appears.

2.  Press [CLOCK SET] using a ball point pen or other similar instrument.

    CAUTION: Do not use an object with a breakable or sharp tip.

3.  Press [12<>24/CE] to select a 12 or 24 hour clock display.  For the
    12 hour clock,AM or PM appears on the display.  Press [AM or PM] to
    select the correct a.m. or p.m. hour.

4.  Enter the hour and minutes.  Precede one-digit numbers with a 0.

5.  Enter the year, month, and date.  Precede one-digit numbers in the
    month or date with a 0 or space as in Step 4.

6.  Press [M CHECK/ENTER].  The seconds automatically begin counting at 00
    and the day of the week appears.

The EC-323 has a built-in calendar (from January 1, 1901 to December 31,
2098).  It knows the length of the month in normal years and leap years
and adjusts for the correct day of the week.

NOTE:  If you try to enter an invalid number, ERROR! momentarily appears
       on the display.  Then, the complete display appears again so that
       you can enter the correct number.
