USING THE COUNTDOWN TIMER

1.  Repeatedly press MODE until the countdown timer display appears.

2.  Repeatedly press RESET to select one of the preset countdown times.
    You can choose 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 40, 45 or 60 minutes.

3.  The countdown timer starts automatically.  The flags cover the timer
    scale and then disappear from right to left until the countdown timer
    reaches 0'00 or until you press START/STOP.  Each flag represents a
    second.  The watch beeps five times when the countdown timer reaches
    0'00.  To stop the countdown before it ends, press START/STOP.  To
    resume counting down, press START/STOP again.

    NOTE:  You can press MODE to return to the time diosplay, stopwatch,
           or any other display while the countdown timer continues
           counting down.  The ALARM/TIMER/CHIME winbdow and flags show
           the timer is running if the watch is in the time, alarm,, or
           date display mode.
