TO ADJUST THE CONTRAST OF THE DISPLAY

1.  Highlight the CONT icon on the Main Menu.

2.  Use the arrow keys to make the screen lighter or darker.

3.  Press [MENU] to return to the Main Menu.

NOTE:  The contrast adjustment has a wide range.  Do not set the contrast
       all the way to LIGHT or the display appears blank and the
       calculator appears to be off.

IMPORTANT:  If the display remains dim even when you adjust the contrast,
            you should replace batteries as soon as possible.
