EC-377 128K Pager ID Electronic Organizer (650-0877) Daily Alarms Faxback Doc. # 35208 DAILY ALARMS You can set an alarm for the same time every day or for a specific time and date. When the set alarm time is reached, the EC-377 sounds an alarm for 1 minute and DAILY ALARM, the set alarm date (if set), and the time appear on the display. If there is a schedule record stored with the alarm, that record appears on the display. You can press any key to stop the alarm. When the organizer automatically returns to the date and time display, or you press CLOCK to view the date and time after you stop the alarm, ALARM MISSED, CHECK INDEX appears to remind that a set alarm time occurred. To clear the message, press any key except CLOCK, then recall the daily alarm, if desired (see "Recalling Daily Alarms" below). This section describes how to enter daily alarms and recall them. The organizer displays: *CARD FILE *CONFIDENTIAL FILE *TO DO LIST/SCHEDULE *DAILY ALARMS PRESS CORRESPONDING KEY 2. Press DAILY ALARMS. The organizer displays: ALARM DATE: MM-DD-YY ALARM TIME: HH-MM A/P TO ENTER A DAILY ALARM PRESS "RETURN" 3. Follow the instructions on the display to enter a daily alarm or an alarm for a specific date and time. NOTES: You must use double-digit numbers for dates and times. For example, to enter the date and time for June 14, 1996, at 1:15 in the afternoon, you would type 061496 for the date and 0115 for the time followed by a P (for PM). If you type invalid digits (for example, 32 for the day), the organizer flashes the first letter again after you enter the setting. 4. Press RETURN. The alarm time is stored and the Daily Alarm Index appears, showing the alarm entries for the current day. RECALLING DAILY ALARMS 1. Press DAILY ALARMS. The Daily Alarm Index appears on the display. NOTE: If there are no alarms set, a blank Daily Alarm Index appears. 2. Press /\ or \/ to review all of the scheduled alarm times in chrono- logical order. To recall a specific alarm, enter the entire schedule date for that alarm. For example, press 110596 for the alarm dated 11-5-96. The first alarm time containing the digits you entered appears on the top line of the Daily Alarm Index and the remaining times appear below it in chrono- logical order. NOTE: If there are no scheduled alarms for the recalled date, the message NO FILE MATCH PLEASE TRY AGAIN appears. 3. Press RETURN to view the entire alarm record.
