EC-209 (650-0555B) Memory Calculations Faxback Doc. # 6331

The memory calculation feature lets you do multi-step calculations
easily. Use the following keys for memory calculations:

(M+) Adds the result of a calculation into the value in memory.

(M-) Subtracts the result of a calculation from the value in memory.

(MR) Recalls and displays the value in memory.

(MC) Clears the memory.

If you enter a number in M+ that exceeds the memory's capacity
(8 digits), the display shows an overflow error (M E appears on the
display), but the previous total remains in memory and is protected since
the new entry is not accepted.

Press CE or AC (to clear the display of the overflow error) and then MR.
The number on the display is the total in memory prior to the M+ overflow
entry.

NOTE: M+ and M- are repeating keys. That is, if you press the key 2, 3,
or 4 times, the displayed number is added to (or subtracted from)
       memory 2, 3, or 4 times.
