The Radio Shack Two-Tone Indoor Siren is a high-powered sounding device
that easily connects to most security alarm systems.

If the security system has two alarm outputs (for example, fire and
burglar), the siren can produce two different alarms: a rising/falling
("yelp") alarm and a steady tone.  You can use the two sounds to alert
other household members to different dangers (yelp for a fire, steady
tone for an intruder, for example).

If the security system has only one alarm output, the siren can sound
either a yelp alarm or a steady tone.

In addition, the siren provides these features:

Solid-State Piezo Elements - Assure proper functioning even in very dusty
                             or humid environments.

    Loud Sound With Little - Makes this alarm ideal for a system operating
    Power Drain              from a backup battery.

  High-Impact Plastic Unit - Allows you to mount the siren on a wall or
  in a Compact Design        ceiling with it extending only 1 1/2-inches
                             from the surface.
