Entry Chime

You can set the alarm to announce visitors, alert you to intruders, or
sound a panic alarm, or you can turn it off.

ANNOUNCING VISITORS

Simply set the mode switch to Chime for the electronic chimes to sound
when someone opens the door.

ALARM MODE

When you do not expect visitors, set the mode switch to Instant.  If
someone opens the door, a piercing alarm sounds for 90 seconds or until
you enter the security code.

NOTE: After 90 seconds, the alarm resets to sound when the door opens.

When you leave your house, set the mode switch to Delay.  When you return,
you must enter the security code within 8 seconds, or the alarm sounds.

PANIC ALARM

Press Panic to immediately sound the alarm without opening the door.  The
alarm sounds for 90 seconds or until you enter the security code.

NOTE: After 90 seconds, the alarm resets.

TURNING THE ALARM OFF

Simply set the mode switch to Off to turn off the alarm and the electronic
chimes.

NOTES:  You can still use Panic with the mode switch set to Off.

        You cannot set the mode switch to Off to silence the alarm.  You
        must enter the security code, wait 90 seconds for the alarm to stop
        sounding, or remove the battery.
