Silence Control

The smoke detector is designed for easy mounting on wall or ceiling.  A
complete mounting kit is included with the detector.  First, attach the
mounting bracket on the wall or ceiling with the screws provided.  Second,
twist and lock the smoke detector on the mounting bracket.

NOTE:  The smoke detector is provided with a spring and tab arrangement
       which restricts you from mounting your smoke detector with the
       battery removed.  With the battery installed, the protruding tab is
       pushed into the smoke detector by the mounting surface allowing it
       to be secured to its mounting bracket.
