Remote Control Alarm (490-0770) Battery Faxback Doc. # 16057 System The remote arm/disarm transmitter requires a 12-volt battery. We recommend an alkaline battery (such as Cat. No. 23-144). Replace the battery if the indicator fails to light when you press either ARM or DISARM, or if the range is reduced. To replace the battery do the following: 1. Remove the screw from the back of the transmitter and lift off the top cabinet. 2. Remove the old battery and discard it immediately. WARNING: Never allow children to play with batteries. 3. Insert the battery, observing the polarity symbols (+ and - ) as indicated in the battery compartment. 4. Replace the top cabinet of the transmitter and secure it using the screw. FCC INFORMATION Your alarm system might cause TV or radio interference even when it is operating properly. To determine whether your system is causing the interference, turn off your system. If the interference goes away, your system is causing the interference. Try to eliminate the interference by: Moving your system away from receiver. Contacting your local Radio Shack store for help.
