Your Radio Shack Infrared Alarm System is a high quality battery operated
security device. It uses a passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor to detect 
and activate a built in alarm.

You do not need to carry a key for arming and disarming your alarm system.
Instead, you simply enter your personally selected four-digit security 
code. You can select from 10,000 possible codes and change the code as
often as you like.

Your alarm has these features:

  Built-in-Alarm Buzzer - Automatically sounds for 5 minutes when the
                          system detects motion.

            Panic Alarm - Sounds the alarm immediately if you press * and #
                          at the same time.

     Pulse Count Switch - Lets you set the number of pulses needed before
                          the system sounds the alarm to help prevent false
                          alerts.

       Entry/Exit Delay - Waits 30 seconds before activating the alarm to
                          give you time to disarm the system, and gives you
                          30 seconds to leave the area before arming the
                          system.

 Built-in Tamper Switch - Activates the built-in alarm if an intruder tries 
                          to remove the system from the wall when the
                          system is armed.

   ARM/DISARM Indicator - Lets you know when the system is armed and
                          disarmed.

Zone Coverage Indicator - flashes when the system is disarmed to show you 
                          are moving within the coverage area.

  Dual Mode Indications - Works even when household or building electrical
                          power is off.

  Low Battery Indicator - Flashes every 10 seconds to indicate the
                          batteries need to be replaced.

  Low Power Consumption - Batteries last up to 12 months.

    Sensitivity Control - Lets you adjust the system to expand or reduce
                          the sensor's range.

     Easy Wall Mounting - Requires no wiring; uses only two wood screws.
