Lamp Module (610-2682) Addendum Faxback Doc. # 19287 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This Lamp Module (Cat. No. 610-2682) is rated for INCANDESCENT lamps for up to 300 Watts max. It can be turned on and off, and dimmed and brightened remotely from any Plug'N Power Controller or Timer. The Lamp Module responds to "All Lights On" from any Controller set to its Housecode. This allows you to turn "on" ALL lamps connected to Lamp Modules at the touch of a button if you hear a strange noise at night, regardless of what Unit Code the Lamp Module is set to. The Lamp Module also responds to "All Units Off" from any Controller set to its Housecode. This allows you to turn "off" ALL lamps connected to Lamp Modules at the touch of a button when you go to bed, regardless of what Unit Code the Lamp Module is set to. The Lamp Module has a feature called "local control". This feature enables you at any time to turn on the lamp plugged into the Lamp Module simply by turning the lamp's power switch off then on again. For lamps with 3 way bulbs, you may have to rotate the switch a few times before the lamp turns on. You must always leave the lamp's switch in the on position to control the Lamp Module remotely, but this handy local "on" feature means you don't have to always go to where the Controller is located to turn the lamp on. APPLICATIONS * Turn on lamps from ANY Plug'N Power Controller. The Mini Timer, Clock Radio Timer or the Home Automation Interface can turn on the Lamp Module at pre-set times to give your home a lived-in appearance. * Use the Telephone Responder to turn on the Lamp Module from ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD! You can, for example, call your home and turn OFF lamps which you forgot to turn off when you left the house. You could call home and turn ON the lamps which you wish to be on when you arrive home, so that you don't have to enter a dark house. * When used with the POWERFLASH Burglar Alarm Interface (Cat. No. 610-2687 CMC), the Lamp Module can FLASH any lamp connected to it when your alarm system trips. * When used with Plug'N Power Manual Controllers, the Lamp Module can provide "mood" lighting. You can DIM lamps to suit your mood. You can even dim a group of lamps simultaneously, a feature not possible with conventional dimmers. Simply press the buttons on the Maxi Controller corresponding to the code of the Modules you wish to dim e.g. 1, 2, 4 and 12 and then press and hold the DIM button. Modules 1, 2, 4, and 12 will then ALL dim together. * For the ultimate in mood lighting, the Home Automation Interface can even dim lamps connected to Lamp Modules to a desired brightness level at a preprogrammed time.
