Do not use this dimmer with any appliance or motor. Do not exceed ratings. HOUSE CODE 16 different codes match dimmer to control center - lets you use more then one control center without interaction. UNIT CODE Assign command of dimmer to any of the 16 different keys on the control center for individual on/off control. INSTRUCTIONS 1. Match house code letter on red dial with dial setting on control center. (Use a dime or a small screwdriver to set the red Housecode dial on the Lamp Module.)If more than one control center is used, each should have a different code letter to avoid interference with each other. 2. Black dial assigns desired key number on the control center to this dimmer location. If, for example, you want key number 1 command this dimmer, set dial to 1. More than one dimmer can be assigned to the same key number, allowing one key to control an entire room. 3. Plug lamp to be controlled into dimmer. The lamp must be an incandescent type of no more than 300 watts. Check that the lamp switch is in the ON position. Plug remote dimmer unit into 120V AC wall outlet. NOTE: The lamp will be OFF at this time. It's easy to take control. Simply plug a controller and modules into standard 120-volt household wall outlets. (no special wiring needed.)
