Powerhorn Power Line Siren (610-2613 CMC) Operation Faxback Doc. # 19611 1. Set House and Unit Code dials on POWERHORN to same letter and number as PROTECTOR PLUS Security System's Base Receiver. 2. Plug POWERHORN into a standard AC outlet (not one controlled by a wall switch). WARNING: The POWERHORN is extremely loud! Do not stand near it when you trip the alarm. Prolonged exposure to the 105 dB output could cause permanent hearing damage. 3. To test the POWERHORN, trip the PROTECTOR PLUS Security System. The siren in the PROTECTOR PLUS's Base Receiver will sound, and any lights connected to Plug'N Power/X-10 Lamp Modules and Wall Switch Modules will flash on and off. After the lights have flashed on and off about 4 or 5 times, the POWERHORN will trip. The POWERHORN will turn off a few seconds after the alarm resets or is disarmed. 4. To activate the POWERHORN from the POWERFLASH Burglar Alarm Interface (Cat. No. 610-2687 CMC) set the POWERFLASH Interface to mode 2 (All Lights Flashing). 5. You can also trip the POWERHORN from any Plug'N Power/X-10 remote control by first pressing the number corresponding to the Unit Code set on the POWERHORN. Then press ON then OFF, then ON then OFF. Keep doing this until the POWERHORN trips. Alternatively, you can press All Lights On then All Units Off repetitively until the POWERHORN trips. The POWERHORN will stop sounding a few seconds after the last key you press. (CS 1/22/96)
